Ramiz Raja has disclosed that in order for the former chairman to be added to the commentary panel for the HBL Pakistan Super League, the new PCB administration led by Najam Sethi wants him to apologise for his recent comments against the current management committee.
Raja was asked whether he will be doing commentary for the HBL PSL 8 during a Q&A session with fans on his YouTube channel. Rameez Raja replied that the new management committee wants him to apologise to them and provide them application for commentary then they will review it.
Later, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) dismissed former chairman Ramiz Raja’s claim that the new PCB regime under Najam Sethi wanted him to apologise for his recent statements against the new management committee.
“Mr. Ramiz Raja is free to do commentary. There are no restrictions on him from the PCB. He can comment whenever and wherever he wants. PCB has not asked him to apologise for anything.”
