New Zealand Team be Arrives in Islamabad Ahead of T201 Series

The New Zealand cricket team has arrived in Islamabad to begin their preparations for an upcoming T20I series against Pakistan, which starts on April 18. Michael Bracewell leads the New Zealand team as they get ready to face Pakistan in an exciting five-match series.

Rawalpindi will host three of the games, while Lahore will host the remaining two. The final match will take place on April 27, bringing the series to an end. Before the matches begin, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the team of match officials who will oversee the games.

The team of officials is led by Andy Pycroft, a well-respected member of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) elite panel of match referees. The group also includes experienced umpires like Aleem Dar, Asif Yaqoob, Faisal Afridi, and Rashid Riaz.

In the meantime, there is a lot of excitement among Pakistani cricket fans due to the recent announcement of the 17-member squad for the T20I series, led by captain Babar Azam. The team features the return of experienced players such as fast bowler Mohammad Amir and all-rounder Imad Wasim, which adds strength and expertise to the squad.

In addition to the veterans, there are also several young players, such as Usman Khan and Muhammad Irfan Khan, who have been performing exceptionally well in the recent Pakistan Super League (PSL 9). Their inclusion in the national team suggests a fresh wave of talent ready to make an impact on the international cricket scene.
