Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed that he had warned the people who supported Imran Khan, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), to be careful because Imran Khan’s true nature would be revealed, and people would remember Nawaz Sharif. Shehbaz Sharif said that if given the chance, Nawaz Sharif would become the Prime Minister again.
During a speech at an event in Faisalabad, Shehbaz Sharif talked about how in 2018, Imran Khan came to power through deception. He criticized the previous government for causing divisions in society and not achieving much during their four-year rule. Shehbaz Sharif also pointed out that Imran Khan had promised not to seek help from the IMF (International Monetary Fund) but later broke that promise and made a deal with the IMF.
Shehbaz Sharif highlighted that currently, there are no signs of financial default, and the electricity rates have not increased for consumption up to 200 units.
