Night Travel Banned on Major Highways in Balochistan

The Balochistan government has imposed a ban on traveling at night on important highways due to security reasons. The restriction will be in effect from 6 PM to 6 AM to ensure the safety of travelers.

This ban applies to several major roads, including Sibi Road, Zhob-Dera Ismail Khan Road, the Coastal Highway, Quetta-Taftan Highway, and Loralai-Dera Ghazi Khan Highway. Authorities have taken this step in response to growing security concerns in the region.

Travelers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and avoid nighttime travel on these routes. Security forces will be monitoring the highways to ensure the new rules are followed. Violators may face legal action as the government aims to prevent any potential threats to public safety.

The decision has been made to protect people from possible security risks, especially in remote areas where movement at night can be dangerous. Officials have urged citizens to cooperate with the authorities and follow the travel restrictions for their own safety.

Transport companies and truck drivers using these highways have also been asked to adjust their schedules. Emergency travel will be handled on a case-by-case basis, with special permissions granted if necessary.

The government has assured that this measure is temporary and will be reviewed based on the security situation in the coming weeks. In the meantime, travelers are encouraged to stay informed and follow official announcements regarding highway safety.
