This change came after Musk responded to a question from his sister Tosca Musk about uploading full-length films to the platform. It suggests a move towards making money from content through subscriptions.
Tosca Musk expressed her thanks for people watching her movies on X, showing how the platform could become a streaming site.
Users also suggested more features, like being able to charge a one-time fee for sharing short clips, which could turn X into a place dedicated to movies.
Elon Musk mentioned other upcoming features, such as “AI Audiences,” which will let advertisers target specific groups of users effectively. This new feature, expected to be available soon, will make it easier for advertisers to reach the right people by using AI to find the most suitable X users based on what advertisers want.
