Emirates keeps making services convenient for its customers. The Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security, UAE has announced that Emirates customers can renew their passport and ID Card online through mobile application from anywhere outside of UAE.
The individuals who intend to avail this facility must apply for the transaction personally via their dedicated smart application. This condition is necessary to confirm that identity of the owner. Nasser Ahmed Al-Abdouli, the Director of Customer Happiness Management stated to Arabic daily about this new feature, emphasizing that the request will be rejected if made by someone else than the owner.
The process is simple, the individuals must open the renewing ID card service, submit their application, and confirm the transaction.
