One of the newest Tesla car models, the 3 Tesla, may be spotted on Dubai roads. This month, the business partnered with Tesla Motors in Dubai to bring 269 Model 3 Tesla vehicles to Dubai’s taxi fleet.
By using hybrid, electric, and hydrogen-powered vehicles, this initiative intends to eventually make all taxis in Dubai completely environmentally friendly by 2027.
According to Arabia Taxi, this new fleet will help the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) five-year goal to lower emissions and enhance air quality in the Emirate.
In July of last year, the RTA added a Tesla Model 3 to the Dubai Taxi Corporation’s fleet as a test addition.. In 2017, the organization initially added 172 Teslas to the Dubai Taxi fleet of limos. A division of Economic Group Holdings is Arabia Taxi. There are roughly 6,000 cabs in its fleet.
According to Sheikh Majid.
“The business is developing a strategy to turn the remaining cars into entirely electric ones, and it’s also thinking about the prospect of employing hydrogen-powered automobiles in the future. To give its customers a variety of sustainable and ecologically friendly mobility alternatives, it is ready to extend its partnership with Tesla and other electric car manufacturers”.
The move, according to Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of the RTA’s Public Transport Agency, would help “promote the Dubai government’s initiative to introduce green vehicles for a cleaner environment.”
