OceanGata Suspends All Exploration and Commercial Operations After Tragic Titan Submersible Implosion

OceanGate, a company that uses submarines for exploration, has stopped all of its exploration and commercial activities. This decision was made after a terrible incident where their submarine, called Titan, collapsed near the Titanic wreckage area. Unfortunately, all five people aboard the submarine lost their lives.

The wreckage was later searched, and human remains were found. The trip to the Titanic site, which was the third for the submarine, cost $250,000 per person. Because of this incident, OceanGate has stopped its operations for now.
