Arshad Nadeem, who won the Olympic gold medal with a record-breaking 92.97-meter javelin throw in Paris, has earned widespread admiration for his achievements and his modest demeanor. His father-in-law, Nawaz, who has four sons and three daughters including Nadeem’s wife Ayesha, expressed immense pride in Nadeem’s success and contribution to their family’s honor.
Upon returning to Lahore, Nadeem was welcomed like a hero. The reception included a grand display of appreciation, featuring dignitaries and a traditional water cannon salute at the airport, celebrating his remarkable accomplishment and the honor he has brought to his country.
