Over 4,000 Worshippers from 120 Countries Observe Itikaf at Al Masjid an Nabawi

Around 4,000 Muslims from 120 countries are currently observing itikaf at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. Itikaf is a special practice where people stay inside the mosque during the last 10 days of Ramadan for worship, prayer, and reflection.

To ensure a smooth experience, 12 essential services are being provided to the participants. These include free meals, drinking water, medical assistance, multilingual guidance, and mobile charging stations. Additionally, each participant receives a wristband to help them move easily within designated areas.

The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques has set rules to maintain peace and order inside the mosque. Observers are asked to follow guidelines, including keeping the area clean and quiet. To ensure safety, bringing unauthorized food, receiving visitors, or bringing children into the itikaf areas is strictly prohibited.

Muslims from all over the world have gathered in this holy place to strengthen their connection with Allah. Through prayers, Quran recitation, and reflection, they seek forgiveness and spiritual growth during the final days of Ramadan.

Itikaf at the Prophet’s Mosque is a highly respected tradition, and the authorities are ensuring that all arrangements are in place for a peaceful and meaningful experience.
