At least 85.9% of Pakistanis say their income has been squeezed under the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, while 92.9 percent believe inflation and price hikes are at an all-time high under the current administration.
Transparency International Pakistan released the findings after conducting a “nationwide” study called the National Corruption Perception Survey (NCPS) 2021. “The NCPS 2021 includes perceptions of the levels and frequency of corruption faced by ordinary Pakistanis on a daily basis,” according to the TI Pakistan.
“When comparing the three federal governments, the majority of Pakistanis (92.9 percent) consider inflation and price hikes to be [the] highest in the current PTI government, compared to 4.6 percent in [the] PML-N government (2013-2018) and 2.5 percent in [the] PPP government (2008-2013),” according to the report.
.
The biggest cause of rising prices and falling income, according to poll participants, was government inefficiency. At least 50.6 percent believed the administration was incompetent, 23.3 percent blamed corruption, 16.6 percent blamed a lack of policy implementation, and 9.6 percent blamed politicians’ intervention in government matters.
Pakistanis have a easiest way to blame the government, never look on the past what have been done by the politicians.
previous governments made huge corruptions and took loans for non-benefits projects, mortgages country assets to others.
Pakistanis must open their eyes and decide upon the facts.
