The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will perform a special flypast at the Champions Trophy 2025 opening ceremony in Karachi on February 19. This will be the first-ever PAF flypast at a Champions Trophy event, adding a spectacular touch to the ceremony.
To ensure safety, a specific air corridor will be closed, and airspace restrictions will be in place from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Rehearsals will take place from February 17 to 19 during the same time.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), advising airlines to take necessary precautions. Airlines have been instructed to carry extra fuel and adjust their flight schedules to avoid any disruptions.
This event is expected to be a proud moment for Pakistan, as the PAF showcases its skill and precision at an international cricket tournament. The flypast will not only enhance the opening ceremony but also reflect the strength and professionalism of the Pakistan Air Force.
Spectators and cricket fans can look forward to an exciting start to the Champions Trophy, with the flypast set to be a key highlight of the event.
