Pak Suzuki to Give Big Surprise to Customers, Expected to Rise New Suzuki Swift Price Tag to Rs. 3.1 Million

After 11 years, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) unveiled the new version of Swift on February 24, with a hefty price tag. According to autojournal.pk, the automaker is expected to increase the price of its premium hatchback to Rs. 300,000 in less than a month.

Further, Suzuki has announced the Swift GL manual (base variant), GL CVT (middle variant), and GLX CVT (top variant) for Rs. 2.5 million, Rs. 2.7 million, and Rs. 2.9 million, respectively. The mid variant will now cost Rs. 3 million; whereas, the top variant will cost Rs. 3.2 million, which does not seem affordable given that there are better options in that price range.

Although the company claims to “serve Pakistan’s largest and underserved community,” the claimed price hike may disappoint customers and buyers, especially those who have already booked the Swift.

However, a price rise for the Swift could affect its sales and appeal, as potential customers may consider sedans in the same price range.
