Pakistan’s bowling sensation Naseem Shah was hospitalized in Lahore after his health worsened on Tuesday. Naseem Shah got fever and hospitalized, PCB confirmed that Naseem Shah will not available for today match.
Pakistan Cricket Board also issued a statement about Naseem’s health, saying the pacer is suffering from a viral infection and was taken to the hospital due to a high fever. He underwent several screening tests including the dengue virus. The 5th T20 International between Pakistan and England will be held in Lahore today.
Sources further say that the possibility of Naseem Shah playing today’s match has also ended due to ill health. While his availability for future matches will be decided after seeing the medical reports. Meanwhile, Abrar Ahmed may be handed his debut in today’s match as spinner. Usman Qadir may also be given a rest.
