The cricket boards of India (BCCI) and Pakistan (PCB) have agreed on the venue for their World Cup match. A report states that Pakistan has now agreed to play against India at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India.
Initially, Pakistan had concerns about playing in Ahmedabad due to security reasons. However, after discussions between the two boards, a resolution has been reached. The BCCI also agreed to the PCB’s suggested hybrid model for the Asia Cup, which involves matches being played in Lahore, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
This compromise allows both countries to host matches and addresses Pakistan’s security concerns.
