Pakistan Air Force has deployed two new radar systems to improve defence

Pakistan Defense has added two new radar systems to its air defence monitoring system, the TPS-77 MRR and the YLC-18A. The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) had already deployed two new radar systems to improve air defence monitoring. TPS-77 MRR and YLC-18A are two of them, according to reports.

According to reports, the TPS-77 MRR is a long-range, ground-based air search radar developed by Lockheed Martin in the United States. It has a range of up to 500 kilometres, with ABT detection at 300 kilometres for typical fighter aircraft.

GaN technology and LPI features are also included in the design, which prevent enemy fighters’ RWR from being triggered. Surprisingly, the high-performance radar is simple to install on vehicles and transport via C-130, truck, rail, or helicopter.
