Pakistan Army Sets Up Free Medical Camp in Tharparker

The Pakistan Army recently organized a free medical camp in the remote region of Thar Parkar, located in Sindh province. The camp aimed to provide healthcare services to residents who often face challenges in accessing medical facilities due to the area’s remote location.

Collaborating with the District Health Quarters, the medical camp offered complimentary treatment to over 1300 patients, including women and children. Hosted at Rai Chand Higher Education School in District Tharparkar, the camp provided a range of services, including laboratory testing, first aid, ECG, vaccination, OT, detention rooms, and free medicines.

Specialists and Medical Officers from the Pakistan Army examined patients, ensuring comprehensive healthcare coverage. Additionally, free rations were distributed to support the local population.

The initiative received heartfelt appreciation from the community, as it alleviated the burden of seeking medical assistance from distant locations. Residents expressed gratitude for the convenience of receiving treatments and medicines at their doorstep, eliminating the need for costly travel and accommodation expenses typically incurred when seeking medical care in urban areas.

Patients also highlighted the significance of accessing expensive tests free of charge, underscoring the positive impact of the Pakistan Army’s humanitarian efforts on their well-being and livelihoods.
