Pakistan Bowls Out Sri Lanka for 166 Runs in 1st Innings of 2nd Test

Pakistan’s cricket team bowled out Sri Lanka for 166 runs in the first innings of the second Test. The young bowler, Abrar Ahmed, was the star of the show, taking four wickets, while Naseem Shah contributed with three wickets, and Shaheen Afridi scalped one wicket.

On Day 1 of the second Test, Sri Lanka’s batting lineup struggled against the skillful Pakistani bowlers. Dhananjaya de Silva showed some resistance and managed to score 57 runs, but apart from him, only Dinesh Chandimal and Ramesh Mendis were able to put up some fight with scores of 34 and 27 runs, respectively.

Winning the toss, Sri Lanka’s captain, Dimuth Karunaratne, decided to bat first. However, Pakistan’s bowling attack proved too strong for the Sri Lankan batsmen, leading to their early collapse.

Pakistan’s victory in the first Test at Galle had boosted their confidence, and they continued their dominant form in the Colombo Test as well. The team looked determined to secure another win against Sri Lanka in the ongoing series.

With Abrar Ahmed’s superb performance and the overall bowling excellence, Pakistan successfully restricted Sri Lanka to a modest total in their first innings. The match promises to be an exciting contest as both teams aim to claim victory in the second Test.

As the series progresses, cricket enthusiasts eagerly await more thrilling performances and see how the teams fare in the upcoming days of the test match. Pakistan’s exceptional bowling display has set the stage for an exciting battle between the two cricketing nations.
