“Pakistan Can Become $1 Trillion Economy by 2035”, Vice President World Bank

World Bank Vice President Martin Raiser has stated that Pakistan could become a $1 trillion economy by 2035 if it manages to sustain an annual growth rate of 7%.

During an interview on The Review talk show, Raiser explained that while it is difficult to make long-term predictions, Pakistan’s locally developed economic revival plan could help the country achieve this milestone. He expressed confidence, saying the target is “absolutely possible,” but highlighted the need for essential reforms to turn this vision into reality.

Raiser also shared that the World Bank is committed to supporting Pakistan with $20 billion in funding over the next 10 years. He underlined the importance of political unity and collaboration for implementing the necessary changes and attracting investments.

According to him, focusing on internal reforms and improving the investment climate will play a crucial role in Pakistan’s journey toward significant economic growth.
