Pakistan Launches Direct Shipping Line to Europe to Boost Global Trade

Pakistan has achieved a significant milestone in international trade by launching the India North Europe Express (INX) maritime service. This new shipping line connects Pakistan directly to Europe, providing faster and more efficient trade routes.

The service will begin on February 5, operating weekly from Karachi. It will link key European ports, including London Gateway, Rotterdam, Hamburg, and Antwerp. The ships used for this service can carry up to 6,000 containers, completing a round trip in just 11 weeks. This will greatly reduce transit times and improve trade efficiency.

The INX service is expected to boost Pakistan’s trade capabilities by enhancing its maritime infrastructure and taking advantage of its strategic location at the crossroads of Central Asia, South West Asia, and the Persian Gulf.

By offering quicker and more reliable access to European markets, it will help Pakistani businesses expand their reach and strengthen trade ties with Europe.

This initiative also highlights Pakistan’s growing role in global trade, opening new opportunities for exporters and improving connectivity with international markets. It is a major step forward in making Pakistan a key player in regional and global trade networks.

Businesses across Pakistan are set to benefit from this service, as it not only saves time but also promotes economic growth by facilitating smoother access to European markets. The INX maritime service is a positive development for the country’s economy and trade sector.
