Pakistan LaunchesFirst Online Women Police Station and Mobile App in Islamabad

Pakistan has launched its first fully women-only digital police station in Islamabad to help protect women and children around the clock. This special service makes it easier for victims to get help without having to visit a police station in person.

Women who face problems like domestic violence or gender-based violence can now report their cases by simply calling the dedicated helpline 1815. This helpline is available 24/7, giving victims quick and safe access to the police whenever they need it.

According to Inspector General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, only female officers handle all complaints received through this digital station. They make sure that first responders reach the victims within seven minutes of receiving a call. This fast action is helping victims feel safer and more supported.

In addition, if someone calls the regular emergency number 15, their call will be automatically redirected to the women’s helpline 1815 using advanced AI technology. This smart system ensures that no call for help is missed and that women get the right support quickly.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the opening of the digital women police station. He said that the government is working to expand digital policing and Safe City surveillance systems to other provinces too.

This new digital police station is a big step towards making Pakistan safer for women and children. By using technology and dedicated female officers, the country hopes to create an easier, safer way for victims to speak up and get justice without fear.
