Pakistan Lifts World Junior Squash Championship Trophy After 37 Years

Hamza Khan, from Pakistan, made a strong comeback in world squash by winning the World Junior Championship title in Melbourne. He defeated Egypt’s Mohamed Zakaria in an exciting final match with a 3-1 scoreline (10-12, 14-12, 11-3, 11-6).

This victory is a historic moment for Pakistan as it is their first World Junior Squash title in nearly 40 years since Jansher Khan’s win in 1986. The final match between Hamza and Zakaria was intense, with the first two games going into tiebreakers.
