Pakistan Likely Playing XI for World Cup Clash Against South Africa

The Pakistan cricket team is preparing for a significant match against South Africa in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, scheduled for Friday in Chennai.

Fakhar Zaman, who recently recovered from a knee injury, is now fit and available for selection. While he participated in practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, there were some signs of rustiness in his batting.

The team management is considering including him in the playing XI in place of fellow opener Imam-ul-Haq, although Fakhar’s recent lack of form could pose a challenge.

All eyes will be on the captain, Babar Azam, who aims to showcase his skills and make a substantial contribution in this crucial match. Mohammad Rizwan, the team’s wicketkeeper-batsman, is expected to play a crucial role at number four with his composed approach.

Saud Shakeel and Iftikhar Ahmed are eager to make a significant impact in their respective roles and contribute to the team’s success.
