In a historic victory, the Pakistani Long Range Team has achieved excellence at the European Long Range Championship held in Bisley, UK.
The team’s performance has not only brought honor to the nation but also marked a significant milestone in Pakistan’s long-range shooting history.
During the competition, Lieutenant General Ahsan Gulrez and Colonel Junaid Waqas displayed their skill and determination, earning well-deserved silver medals. Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Ali, on the other hand, reached the pinnacle of success by clinching a prestigious gold medal.
These achievements are a testament to Pakistan’s growing prowess in long-range shooting, marking the country’s inaugural recognition on the international stage.
The Pakistani team made their debut appearance in the European Championship, competing against over 80 international shooters from 12 different nations in both individual and team events.
Their remarkable performance garnered praise and congratulations from Raja Pervez Ashraf, the Speaker of the National Assembly, who commended the team’s dedication and outstanding achievements, further solidifying Pakistan’s presence in the global shooting arena.
