Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye have agreed on a long-term defence arrangement aimed at strengthening cooperation among the three countries. The agreement sets out commitments covering mutual security and military coordination.
Under the arrangement, the three nations are expected to support each other if any member faces an armed attack. It also provides a framework for closer cooperation in areas such as defence planning, intelligence exchange, logistics and counterterrorism.
The agreement includes a minimum 10-year commitment for the participating countries. A member can seek to withdraw after this period by giving at least three months’ written notice.
Türkiye has moved the agreement to its parliament for approval, marking another step in the formal process. Meanwhile, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye are continuing discussions to expand their defence ties and improve coordination on regional security matters.
The agreement reflects the three countries’ efforts to build a stronger and more structured security partnership.
