Aleem Dar is a former cricket umpire from Pakistan who served on the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) elite panel of umpires for almost 19 years.
He is considered one of the best umpires in the history of cricket and has officiated over 400 international matches, including multiple ICC events such as the World Cup, Champions Trophy, and World T20.
After retiring from the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) elite panel of umpires, Aleem Dar was recognized and honored by the Pakistan cricket team.
With over 400 international matches officiated, including multiple ICC events, Dar’s contribution to the sport was acknowledged by Babar Azam and his teammates. During a recent match against New Zealand, the team presented a signed jersey to Dar in recognition of his umpiring career on the elite panel.
