Pakistan to Face India in World Championship of Legends Final Today

Today, Pakistan and India will compete in the final of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2024. India earned their spot in the final after defeating Australia by 86 runs in the second semi-final at Northampton’s County Ground last Friday.

Earlier, Pakistan secured their place in the final by defeating West Indies by 20 runs in the first semi-final. Pakistan set a target of 199 runs for the West Indies, led by Younis Khan’s score of 65. Aamer Yamin and Sohail Tanvir also made significant contributions with 37 and 33 runs respectively. The West Indies managed to score 178 runs in their 20 overs, falling short of Pakistan’s total.

Pakistan’s champion squad for the final includes Kamran Akmal as wicketkeeper, with Sharjeel Khan, Sohaib Maqsood, Younis Khan as captain, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Misbahul Haq, Aamer Yamin, Sohail Khan, Wahab Riaz, and Tanvir Ahmed.
