Pakistan and Turkey will collaborate on a television series based on the life of warrior Salahuddin Ayubi, with Prime Minister Imran Khan emphasising the importance of educating the next generation about Muslim history and expressing hope that multimedia will help in this respect.
“The series on Salahuddin Ayubi’s life will raise awareness of his historic significance among the youth,” the prime minister remarked at a meeting with filmmaker Shehzad Nawaz and Turkish producer Emre Konuk. “Rather than choosing for mundane issues, it is past time to develop dramas and films based on historical narratives,” he remarked.
