Pakistan achieved success in the South Asian Bodybuilding Championship held in Malé, Maldives. They won one gold medal and two bronze medals. Shahzad Qureshi won the gold medal in the 80 kg category, defeating strong Indian bodybuilders. As Pakistan’s national anthem played and their flag waved proudly, the victory was celebrated with pride.
This was Shahzad Qureshi’s second gold medal in the South Asian Bodybuilding Championship, which showcased his exceptional talent and commitment. Additionally, Ibrahim Khan and Shahidullah won bronze medals in the 75 kg division of the junior category, contributing further to Pakistan’s success.
The Secretary of the Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation, along with the High Commissioner of Pakistan in Maldives and the Sports Minister of Maldives, congratulated the accomplished athletes for their outstanding performances.
