Sirbaz Khan (Gilgit-Baltistan) and Shehroze Kashif (Lahore) in the early morning of Saturday climbed up Mount Makalu in Nepal, which is known to be the fifth-highest peak in the world.
At the time of 6:56 a.m., as per Alpine Club of Pakistan Secretary Karrar Haidri (PST), Kashif climbed the peak of Makalu Mountain, which is apparently at the height of 8,485 metres.
Recently, Kashif has reached the top of five of the world’s highest peaks, which makes him the youngest mountaineer worldwide.
By this achievement, he has also become the 20-year-old Pakistani mountaineer and the youngest to reach the top of three eight-thousanders in almost 23 days.
As per a post on Facebook, posted by the Alpine Club of Pakistan, Khan was a few steps behind Kashif in achieving the peak of Makalu Mountain, and raised the Pakistani flag on the peak at 8 a.m. (local time).
Now he has reached the peak of 11 of the world’s 14 eight-thousanders, which makes him the first Pakistani to reach the top.
Khan wishes to reach the peak of all of the world’s mountains that are higher than 8,000 metres. Â
