The UAE Ministry of Defense has inked a contract with Pakistan’s Global Industrial and Defence Solutions (GIDS) for the delivery of various ammunitions for Dh143.98 million (about $39 million). The contract was inked at the Dubai Airshow 2021, when many firms from around the world exhibited aviation and advanced defence technology.
According to Khaleej Times, the Ministry of Defence’s spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel Sarah Al Hajri, claimed the ministry has signed seven contracts worth more than Dh1.74 billion in the first four days of the exhibition, bringing its total tally to Dh22.5 billion.
