Pakistani Players Undergo Fitness Training at Pakistan Army School, Kakul

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently shared footage of the ongoing fitness camp happening in Kakul, Abbottabad. The camp is taking place at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT), where Pakistan players are actively participating in training sessions and gym exercises.

Earlier this week, the PCB announced that 29 players, including recently unretired all-rounder Imad Wasim, fast bowler Mohammad Amir, and batsman Usman Khan from PSL 9, have been included in the camp.

The camp is set to conclude on April 8 and has been organized in collaboration with the Pakistan Army. Its purpose is to prepare players for upcoming series and tournaments, including the home T20I series against New Zealand, away T20I series against Ireland and England, and the ICC T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies.

The PCB highlighted that the camp’s goal is to improve players’ physical and mental strength, teamwork, agility, leadership, strategic thinking, and overall performance on the field. Experienced trainers and coaches are guiding the players throughout the camp to help them achieve their goals.
