Pakistani currency has gained value, in the wake of the approval from IMF for a revolutionary dividend plug-in back scheme which is anticipated to reduce the pressure on the gas sector’s debt.
According to sources, the plug-in back scheme is envisioned to produce a substantial effect of reducing the huge Rs. 400 billion debt of the gas sector.
As per the statistics revealed, the value of the Pakistani Rupee rose against Saudi Riyal on 9th August 2023. The Saudi Riyal settled at Rs. 78.26 after facing a decline of 12.29 paisa from Rs. 78.39 yesterday.
Moreover, the domestic currency has appreciated against other currencies as well today.
