Sehat Kahani, a trailblazing health-tech startup in Pakistan, has achieved a remarkable milestone by successfully concluding a Series A funding round, securing an impressive $2.7 million.

This accomplishment is particularly noteworthy as it positions Sehat Kahani as the first all-female-led company in Pakistan to secure Series A funding, marking a significant achievement for the country’s startup landscape.

The funding round was led by Amaanah Circle, a health tech fund based in Singapore, and featured participation from notable investors including Epic Angels, Cross Fund, USAID Investment Promotion Activity (IPA), Augmentor, Impact Investment Exchange (IIX), and the Elahi group of companies.

Founded by Dr. Sara Saeed Khurram and Dr. Iffat Zafar Aga, Sehat Kahani offers innovative health solutions, including virtual consultations between doctors and patients, on-demand at-home or on-site laboratory services, and online medicine delivery.

The support from USAID has played a pivotal role in Sehat Kahani’s growth, fostering innovation and aiding expansion within the dynamic landscape of digital health in Pakistan.

The newly secured funds will be strategically utilized by Sehat Kahani to enhance its platform by incorporating advanced features such as decision support systems, precision medicine tools, and predictive AI models.

These additions aim to elevate the overall user experience and provide more sophisticated healthcare solutions. Furthermore, Sehat Kahani has ambitious plans for global expansion, with the funding serving as a catalyst for extending its operations to other countries.
