Pakistani Student Raza Nazar Elected President in Oxford’s Prestigious Trinity College

Raza Nazar, a student from Karachi, has made history by becoming the first Pakistani to be elected as the President of the graduate community (MCR) at Oxford’s prestigious Trinity College. This is a significant achievement not only for Nazar but also for Pakistan.

Before arriving at Oxford, Nazar had an impressive academic journey. He attended Karachi Grammar School, one of Pakistan’s top schools, and then went on to study at the United World College in Singapore. He later earned a degree in law from the London School of Economics (LSE), where he also served as the President of the LSE Law Society.

Now at Oxford, Nazar is pursuing the highly respected Bachelor of Civil Laws (BCL) degree, which is known for its rigorous academic standards. His hard work and dedication have earned him multiple scholarships, highlighting his excellence in his studies.

Nazar is deeply honored to have been given the opportunity to serve as the President of the graduate community at Trinity College.
