Pakistan’s First Sports Tech Startup “Khiladee” Hosted UEFA Champions League Final Between Real Madrid & Liverpool at Lahore Expo Centre

Khiladee is Pakistan’s first sports tech start-up with an ambition to lift Pakistan in the list of countries that are dominating the world of sports. Khiladee believes that sports have the ability to transform Pakistan’s image. It has the power to inspire and has the effect of bringing people together like never before. Khiladee’s ambition is to revitalize Pakistan’s sports culture by focusing not only on sports items, which is one of the main aspects of the business but also on fan engagements and corporate sports participation. Khiladee wants athletics to be an integral part of people’s lives. We intend to instil this culture not only in the lives of individuals but also in the lives of corporations in order to create a healthier and more productive workforce.

The UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool that happened last night, was brought to life by Khiladee Technologies Pvt. Ltd. – the country’s first and largest sports ecosystem developer. More than 3,000 passionate football supporters attended Pakistan’s biggest screening hosted at the Lahore Expo Centre, making history. The vast fan bases of both teams in Pakistan were treated to the action in full swing at the UCL finals, which draws billions of spectators around the world. The thrilling encounter had fans on the edge of their seats for the entirety of the event.

The event was sponsored by McDonalds, Xiaomi, Security General Insurance, GymArmour, and Tmax. Special dignitaries included Co-Founder//CEO Khiladee – Mr. Syed Kamal Nasir, CoFounder//COO Khiladee – Mr. Abdul Rehman, Co-founder//CCO Khiladee and former skipper of Pakistan cricket team – Mr. Inzamam ul Haq, and CPO Khiladee, Mr. Talha Rehmani. 

There was a strong sense of vigour and enthusiasm in the air as the fans of both football clubs rooted for their team to win one of football’s most coveted trophies. Syed Kamal Nasir, the founder and CEO of Khiladee, said, “Football is the most popular sport in the world which is gaining traction on par with cricket within Pakistan. Therefore, it seemed fitting that the greatest sports ecosystem developer in the nation, Khiladee, should host the largest sports screening for the UCL Final; an event of this scale has never happened before in Pakistan. Football and sports in general have enormous pull within the general public in Pakistan, as seen by the ecstatic enthusiasm of these supporters, our goals align with the success of this event. Khiladee’s carefully organized screening of the UCL Finale is certain to increase the sport’s momentum within our country. Abdul Rehman commented on the event’s historic success “This event is only the first step on the success ladder of all that we have planned for Khiladee and revolutionizing sports within Pakistan. The huge turnout of fans and sports lovers is testament to the huge drive sports have within our country, this is exactly what we want to achieve; accessibility to sports on a scale never before witnessed in our nation. Our ambition is to alleviate Pakistan on the global sports platform, we aim to transcend all boundaries and become a nation that pinnacles in sports not just in the region but throughout the world.”

The UCL Final was one of the most important events in the history of Pakistani football. Thousands of football fans gathered under one roof to show support for their favorite team. This demonstrates that football deserves the front seat as much as cricket. The overall success of this event has proven to be a positive indicator for sports within Pakistan.
