Pakistan’s Hassan Usmani Wins Doubles Title at ATP U14 Asian Tennis Tournament

Pakistan’s young tennis star Hassan Usmani has added another remarkable achievement to his career by winning the doubles championship at the ATP U14 Asian Tennis Tournament in Jeddah on December 20, 2024.

Usmani teamed up with Suleyman Hudayberdiyev from Turkmenistan for the doubles event. The duo faced a tough challenge in the final against Saudi players Anas Alzahrany and Souhail El-Taji El-Farouki. In an intense match, Usmani and Hudayberdiyev emerged victorious with a close 7-5, 4-6, 10-8 win.

Earlier in the tournament, Usmani also showed his dominance in the singles category. He faced Hudayberdiyev in the singles final and secured a convincing 6-3, 6-1 victory to claim the title.

A special highlight of the event was tennis legend Rafael Nadal presenting the trophies on the final day. Receiving the award from his idol made the moment even more special for Usmani, who expressed his pride and joy.

This latest victory marks Usmani’s third major title in just two months. He had previously won the singles championship at the Asgabat Open in Turkmenistan, solidifying his position as one of the most promising young players in Asia.
