Pakistan’s Largest Paid Internship Program for Launched 60,000 Youngsters; Here’s How to Apply!

The Prime Minister’s Youth Development Initiatives have been launched by the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives to serve Pakistan’s 64% youth population. Fifteen initiatives will be introduced in March as part of this vision, including the PM’s Youth Laptop Program, the Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program, and 5,000 scholarships for students in Balochistan and the former FATA.

Since April 2022, the Planning Minister has been actively promoting these projects intending to give young people the tools they need to succeed in their chosen industries. Pakistan’s most extensive internship programme, the Prime Minister’s Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program, offers 60,000 paid internships to recent graduates nationwide and aims to empower youth economically.

The program also includes initiatives such as the Youth Skills Training Program, the Pakistan Innovation Fund Young Development Leader Award, and the establishment of Sub Campuses of Public Sector Universities in the Least Developed Districts of Pakistan.

The programme will offer 20,000 internships in PSDP programmes and 40,000 internships in the public, private, and development sectors. Interns will receive monthly pay ranging from PKR: 25,000 to 40,000. The duration of the internships will be between six and twelve months.
