Pakistan’s Meat Exports to China Hit $2.6 Million in 7 Months

Pakistan’s meat exports to China have seen significant growth, reaching $2.6 million from January to July 2024, with boiled beef leading the charge.

This increase in exports underscores the rising demand for high-quality Pakistani meat in China and cements Pakistan’s role as a major supplier of premium meat products.

Owais Mir, Chairman of the DEA Group, explains that the success of Pakistani boiled beef in the Chinese market is due to its superior quality and competitive pricing. He highlights that this achievement is a result of the strong collaborative efforts between Pakistan and China to boost their economic relationship.

During the first seven months of 2024, Pakistan exported 540 tons of boiled meat to China, worth $2.607 million. With three Pakistani companies currently authorized to export boiled meat to China, industry experts are confident that this positive trend will continue.

They believe that the growth in meat exports will further enhance the economic partnership between Pakistan and China, paving the way for even greater trade opportunities in the future.
