At the 54th Asia Bodybuilding Championship, Pakistani bodybuilder Shahzad Qureshi carved his name in record books after he conquered from an Indian opponent.
He defeated Uzbekistan’s Umar Omar Zakopol and India’s Naresh Nagdev in the championship to secure a gold medal in the masterclass 80kg+ category.
Moreover, Umar Shahzad and Arsalan Baig also secured silver and bronze medals in the championship for Pakistan.
Silver medal was sealed by Umar Shahzad as a runner up in the junior bodybuilding 70kg+ category whereas, India’s Suresh Bala Kumar won Gold and Chan Khang Ghaba got Bronze in the category.
Furthermore, bronze medal was grabbed by Arsalan Baig from Pakistan in physique category and Muddasar Khan hold fifth position in the category of the event.
Fazal Ilahi hold the sixth position in the masterclass 80kg+ category, whereas Muhammad Azeem got sixth position in the masterclass 70kg+ category.
Moreover, for their exceptional performance at Asian Bodybuilding Championship have been honoured the national bodybuilders by Secretary Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation and other officials.
A squad of 10 member from South Asian nation took part in the championship which would be held between July 15 to July 21.
