Passenger Plane in Russia Gone Missing with Nearly 50 People on Board

A passenger plane has mysteriously disappeared in Russia’s Far East, carrying nearly 50 people. The missing aircraft, an AN-24, belongs to Siberia’s Angara Airlines and was flying to the Chinese city of Tynda when it suddenly lost contact with air traffic control and vanished from radar.

Regional governor Vasily Orlov confirmed that there were 43 passengers on board, including five children, along with six crew members.

As soon as the plane went missing, emergency teams were sent out right away to start the search. All available rescue teams and equipment have been mobilized to find the aircraft as quickly as possible.

However, officials from Russia’s Emergency Ministry said that the real number of people on board might be around 40, but they are still working to confirm the exact figure. Despite the confusion, search operations are moving ahead at full speed.

The search area has now been expanded because there has been no sign of the plane so far. Rescue teams are working in different locations to cover as much ground as possible.

Family members of the passengers are anxiously waiting for news while teams continue their efforts in the remote and rugged region.

Officials say they are doing everything they can to locate the missing plane and bring answers to worried families. Helicopters, rescue workers, and local authorities are all working together in tough weather and difficult terrain to find any clue about what happened to the missing flight.
