Pat Cummins Confirms most players comfortable with touring Pakistan.

Australia remains hopeful that a nearly full-strength squad will tour Pakistan, with only a few players still uneasy due to security concerns.

Cricket Australia is pleased with the pre-trip security briefing and expects to sanction the country’s first tour in 24 years on Friday.

On Thursday, Test captain Pat Cummins acknowledged that most players were OK with the tour’s continuation, while acknowledging that a few may be unable to travel.

“I believe we’ll be close to full strength,” Cummins added. “There is still some work to be done. We’ve gotten a lot of information, which has been fantastic. All of the pre-tour security and biosecurity work has been completed, and it has been excellent.

“There are a couple of players who are still waiting for additional information, but everyone is thrilled and feeling quite at ease. If somebody does not make the tour, it is perfectly OK; we will certainly support them “He said.
