As a result of the successful organisation of the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed on Thursday that it had paid Rs 2 billion in taxes throughout a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) (PSL).
The PCB chairman announced plans to use Rs 7 billion of the organization’s earnings to revive women’s cricket in Pakistan and to support efforts to advance the sport at all levels without the aid of grants or other financial assistance from the government.
The PCB’s request for the administrative authority at the Niaz Stadium in Hyderabad was also discussed at the committee’s briefing.
According to the information provided, the stadium was reclaimed by the Civil Administration without warning in 2018.
The administration of PCB declared their intention to take over the stadium.
