Zaka Ashraf, who is the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee, recently had a meeting in Lahore with Sarfaraz Ahmed, the former captain of Pakistan’s cricket team who now plays as a Test batsman.
This meeting came after Sarfaraz successfully led Karachi Whites to win the Quaid e Azam Trophy, where they defeated Faisalabad in the final match.
In a statement, the PCB said that Zaka Ashraf met with Sarfaraz Ahmed and Shahnawaz Dahani at the cricket headquarters in Lahore.
During the meeting, Zaka Ashraf praised Karachi Whites for their victory and gave credit to Sarfaraz Ahmed for his leadership skills and Shahnawaz Dahani for his excellent fast-bowling performance.
Zaka Ashraf also confirmed that PCB is committed to supporting the well-being of players and the development of regional cricket.
