The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, has announced a big boost in prize money for players if they win the upcoming T20I World Cup 2024. The tournament is set to take place in the United States and the West Indies, starting from June 1.
Naqvi revealed that each player could earn a substantial $100,000 reward if they manage to clinch the trophy on June 29 in Barbados. Pakistan is placed in Group A alongside rivals India, the United States, Ireland, and Canada. They will kick off their campaign against the co-hosts on June 6 in Dallas.
The team’s journey includes a highly anticipated showdown against India on June 9 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Despite close calls in the last two editions, Pakistan aims to overcome past disappointments and claim victory this time.
