PCB to Use Al Technology to Discover New Cricket Talent

PCB is turning to AI technology to improve the way they identify and develop young cricket talent, especially after facing recent challenges. By using AI during the Champions Cup, the PCB plans to scout and select 150 players, aiming to bring more transparency and innovation to domestic cricket.

Mohsin Naqvi highlighted that this new approach will strengthen domestic cricket by building a fair and transparent pool of 150 players.

With AI playing a major role in the selection process—accounting for 80% of the decisions—the PCB aims to ensure fairer team selections and better choices for the future of the sport in Pakistan.

By embracing this technology, the PCB is not just looking at the immediate future but is also laying down a foundation for a more robust and impartial system for talent scouting and team building.

This initiative reflects their commitment to using modern tools to overcome existing hurdles and push Pakistan cricket to new heights.
