PCB’s Najam Sethi Says His Son Ali Sethi Won’t be Singing PSL 8 Anthem Due to ‘Conflict of Interest’

At a news conference on Friday where the PSL schedule was announced, the PCB chairman referred to Ali’s song and voice as an “international phenomenon.”

He mentioned the rumor that Ali’s father was “denying a popular voice” the opportunity to sing the PSL anthem this season.

“Look, it’s a very delicate matter, and even I’m upset about it; I wonder if Ali feels the same way. He came with the group that he sang the PSL anthem, “Pasoori,” with.

Usman and every one others were talking about bringing Ali, who of course wanted to come and sing. But consider my stance, the chairman added.
