Petrol Price for February has increased by Rs2.70 in Pakistan

The government of Pakistan has announced today that the rate of petrol for the month of February will be high by RS 2.70 per litre.

As per the notification received by the Office of Prime Minister, the price of the light diesel oil will also rise by RS 3 per litre, and high speed diesel will rise by RS 2.88 per litre.

Moreover, these new prices will set and take effect from midnight and will become a recent practice that may undergo with a revision as before the mid of the month, expectedly by 15^th of February. On January 15 a similar division was made for the remaining weeks of the month.

Previously it was reported that the OGRA- Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority also sent a brief report for the new prices of the petroleum products and it was proposed to an increase in petrol price by RS 12 per litre and for diesel RS 10 per litre. But now the new rates that will be applicable from midnight will be RS 2.70 per litre.
