Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has taken a step to promote cultural and people-to-people exchanges between Pakistan and China by reducing the fares for Islamabad-Beijing flights by around 30 percent.
his move is expected to facilitate Pakistani and Chinese travelers who are planning to travel to China for study, business, work or to meet their families. The national flag carrier is currently operating a weekly passenger flight on Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad on Sunday.
Ali Imran, a Pakistani scholar, appreciated this decision and said that it would greatly benefit travelers from both countries. This move is in line with the ongoing celebrations of “The Year of Tourism” by Pakistan and China to further strengthen cultural ties between the two nations.
The reduced fares will encourage more people to visit China and explore its rich cultural heritage, scenic beauty, and business opportunities. Overall, this step is expected to further enhance the friendly relations between Pakistan and China.
