PIA has officially announced the start of its pre-Hajj operations for 2025. The airline will begin flying pilgrims to Saudi Arabia from April 29 and will continue these flights until June 1, 2025.
During this time, PIA will operate 280 special flights to help more than 56,000 Pakistani pilgrims reach Saudi Arabia. These flights will use Boeing 777 and Airbus 320 aircraft, which are known for providing a safe and comfortable travel experience.
Pilgrims traveling under both the government Hajj scheme and private Hajj operators will be served through this operation. PIA has made all necessary arrangements to ensure that the journey is smooth and well-managed. From check-in to landing, every part of the trip has been planned with the comfort and safety of the pilgrims in mind.
After the completion of the Hajj pilgrimage, PIA will also handle the return of pilgrims from Saudi Arabia. The post-Hajj flights are scheduled to begin on June 12 and will continue until July 10, 2025. The airline aims to make sure that all pilgrims return home in a timely and convenient manner.
PIA is working closely with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and other relevant departments to provide the best possible service. Special care is being taken to assist elderly pilgrims and ensure smooth boarding, in-flight services, and luggage handling.
With this major Hajj operation, PIA continues its long-standing tradition of serving the nation during the annual pilgrimage season. The airline is committed to providing safe, reliable, and comfortable air travel for all Hajj passengers.
